Prayer Quilts for Aunties

I realized I hadn't posted any pictures of my aunts with their quilts.  So, this post remedies that.
Aunt Naomi's stroke last April has made it very difficult for her to smile.

She told my cousin to tell me her heart was smiling and was very happy.

Here's Aunt Naomi's quilt.

...and here is Aunt Louise's.
I'm thinking I somehow missed getting pictures of the finished quilt, which makes me sad.

This is the quilt that I made for Aunt JoAnn.  She loves it, but I don't have a picture of her with her quilt.  She was finally able to move to a rehab center.  Her ability to speak comes and goes; her daughter said that one day she was really tired because her team had had her doing so much, and that day she couldn't get the word "no" out to tell her doctor she'd had more than enough.

What a blessing to be able to create quilted blessings!

Happy quilting....and knitting...

Those quilts look great with your aunts. The wave says it all, from the aunt that can't smile anymore.
